What is the Personal Property Securities Act?

The PPS Act is the Commonwealth legislation that replaces more than 70 existing Commonwealth, State and Territory Acts with a single, national law. It introduces a national online register - called the Personal Property Securities Register ("PPS Register") - for the registration of all security interests.

Managing Insolvency

Protocol on Biosafety (BSP) - to ratify or not? A grain trade perspective

 The Australian Government, as part of its preparation for the next BSP (also called the Cartagena Protocol) meeting in October 2010, will, as a matter of course, review its current position to determine if it is still the most advantageous to Australia’s interests.
