Geoff Honey
Geoff Honey is the Chief Executive Officer of Grain Trade Australia a position he has held since July 2003. Geoff has been involved across the grain industry from a family farm through to operating a futures & grain marketing advisory firm.
Lloyd George
Lloyd George commenced his carreer in the grain industry in 1984, of which 17 years were spent with Cargill Australia in a range of commercial and management roles. He currently manages his own grain marketing consultancy– AgIntel Pty Ltd.
Gerard McMullen
Gerard McMullen has extensive experience in grain quality, receival, storage and outturn. Gerard managed the AWB Quality Assurance and Food Safety Division for 12 years, involving development of Receival Standards, creation and implementation of QA, food safety and research programs and management of grain quality along the supply chain.
His current business offers consultancy services to a range of agricultural industries, principally grain, in the areas of advice and development and implementation of systems relating to grain quality, food safety and identity preservation.
Dennis Wise
Assoc. Professor Dennis Wise has spent his professional life involved in Australian agribusiness starting with wool. In 1986 Dennis switched from wool to grain - joining AWB as Marketing Manager before being appointed AWB Vice President (New York).
In 1991 Dennis become a senior Lecturer - Agribusiness Marketing at Curtin University in WA and in 1993 started a newsletter and advisory business which eventually became ProFarmer. Recently he took up the appointment of Associate Professor - Grain Marketing at Curtin University.
Industry Personnel
Industry personnel assist the presenters to ensure the course content is relevant and timely. GTA would like to publicly express its appreciation to the industry personnel for their input into these courses.
